Registration Process

The customer request a quotation from SMR
Quotation shall be based on customer's scale, scope of registration

 

The customer submits aplication to SMR
SMR reviews the standard number and scope of tegistration
SMR assigns a lead auditor

 

Lead auditor introduces process of registration to customer and review and dicusses the appropriate standard

 

SMR performs a review of the customer's Quality Manual to determine compliance to the standard
The customer receives a detailed report

 

SMR performs an on-site assessment to determine the degree and effectiveness of customer's implementation of its quality management system
The customer receives a detailed assessment report
The assessment team makes the registration recommendation

 

A corrective action and follow-up visit may be requested depending on the results of the assessment

 

Based on the recommendation from the assessment team, SMR makes the Decision for Registration
the customer receives a Certificate

 

SMR performs periodic surveillance to verify that customer continue to comply with the certification requirements
Re-assessments based on three years or less are performed by SMR to verify overall continuing effectiveness of the customer's quality system in its entirety.
